
Banjul, The Gambia-The appointment of Mr. Ahmad Gitteh as Special Adviser to the Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Economy has been warmly welcomed as a recognition of youth leadership, patriotism, and democratic commitment.
Mr. Gitteh, a founding member of the ruling NPP and a pro-democracy activist in the Gambian diaspora, has played a pivotal role in the struggle against dictatorship and the restoration of democracy in The Gambia.
