Melville Robertson‘s case against The Standard Newspaper mentioned at the High Court

The lawsuit filed by Lawyer Melville Robertson Roberts (Plaintiff) against Aisha Tamba (1st Respondent), a journalist working at The Standard Newspaper and The Standard Newspaper (2nd Respondent) came up on Monday before Justice Isatou Janneh of the High Court in Bundung.

Journalist Aisha Tamba and The Standard Newspaper have been dragged to court by Lawyer Melville Robertson Roberts for alleged ‘unlawful publication‘.

Monday‘s sitting was purposely meant for mention before Justice Isatou Janneh. The proprietor of The Standard Newspaper  Sheriff Bojang appeared on behalf of his company but Aisha Tamba did not appear as she is yet to be served.

The Standard newspaper is represented by Lawyer Abdoulie Fatty whilst Lawyer Melville Robertson Roberts is represented by Lawyer Malick H.B Jallow.

The case was adjourned until 21st November at 2 pm.
