LamToro News have finally decided to reveal the identities of the escaped detainees from the Banjul Station of the Drug Law Enforcement Agency of The Gambia (DLEAG) on Tuesday night, 15th August 2023.
Fadel Diow, Makumba Fall and Amadou Fall (all Senegalese) and Edward Janneh (a Gambian) are the detainees who escaped from DLEAG custody.
Agents of the country’s drug agency have since embarked on a manhunt on these fugitives but are yet to trace them.
Meanwhile, our sources revealed that the officers Sub Inspector Lamin Drammeh and Narcotics Control Officer (NCO 1) Kebba Njie who were fixed on duty on this particular day when the incident happened have still not been reprimanded but were ordered to trace the escaped detainees before end of August 2023, while awaiting an official decision to be taken against them.
