President Adama Barrow Tuesday received an official invitation from the President of the Republic of Cuba, H.E Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel, for an official visit to his country. Receiving the letter from the outgoing Cuban Ambassador, His Excellency Rubén Garcia Abelenda, at the State House in Banjul, President Barrow said he was honoured to receive the invitation and thanked Cuba for the support it provides to the Gambia, the Health sector in particular.
Ambassador Abelenda thanked the President for the bilateral relations and The Gambia’s support at the international level and pledged his country’s continued support and partnership.
