Pap Ndow arraigned, remanded at Mile II

Abdoulie Ndow, widely known as Pap Ndow, an alleged scammer was on Wednesday, 13th July 2022 arraigned before Magistrate Mben Faal of the Kanifing Magistrate’s Court. The accused Pap Ndow is charged with obtaining money false pretense and with intent to defraud, contrary to the Laws of The Gambia.

When the case was called on Wednesday, the charges were read to the accused but he pleaded not guilty.

However, Magistrate Mben Faal ordered that the accused Pap Ndow be remanded at the State Central Prison Mile II until Monday, 18th July 2022 for the continuation of the case.

Police prosecutor ASP Keita represented the Inspector General of Police.

Readers would recall that the accused Pap Ndow was arrested by Interpol in Mbao, Senegal on 27th June 2022 and was handed over on 6th July to the Gambia Police Force for allegedly defrauding a Swedish-Gambian lady with D2M under false pretense.
