Police hand over two suspects in possession of 20 kilograms of suspected drugs, arms to DLEAG

Officers of the Gambia Police Force has today handed over two suspects caught in possession of 20 kilograms of suspected illicit drugs and arms such as knives and cutlass, to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency of The Gambia (DLEAG).

The two suspects, Sarja Badjie and Ebrima Bah, were driving in a green-colored taxi with registration number Bjl 1614Q and got arrested by the Anti Crime Unit during a night patrol recently.

The suspects and the taxi and suspected drugs and weapons were all handed over to DLEAG for further investigation.

When contacted to shed light on this case, the deputy spokesperson of the Gambia Police Force Chief Inspector Alieu Jamanka confirmed the story for LamToro News.
