Casamance: Five soldiers injured in fighting against MFDC rebels


Senegal’s media is reporting that the security operations in North Sindian have resumed. According to Rfm, fighting is currently raging in the natural region of Casamance between the army and elements of Salif Sadio’s faction of the Movement of Democratic Forces of Casamance (MFDC). Rfm reports that the army has recorded nearly five wounded.

It could be recalled that these clashes resume only a few days before the official laying down of arms by the Diakay faction in Mangon.
