Amadou Ba, a former Presidential Candidate in the recently concluded Senegalese presidential election has announced the formation of a new political party. Mr. Ba was the candidate of the Benno Bokk Yaakaar coalition of the former President Macky Sall. He lost the election to President Bassirou Diomaye Faye who won 54% of the total votes. Amadou Ba, a former Prime Minister cum ex-presidential candidate, pulled over 30% of the votes in the last presidential election.
