One Ousainou Bojang, a resident of Brufut has been reportedly arrested in Jululung, Casamance by Senegalese officers and has been handed over to the Gambia Police Force Wednesday evening. Bojang is suspected of shooting 3 police officers namely; PC Pateh Jallow, PC Sang J Gomez and WPC Ancy Jawo, who were on duty at the Sukuta Traffic Light junction on Tuesday evening.
A top security source has confirmed he will be handed over to the Gambian police. “The police will do a briefing on his case as soon as possible. He is already escorted to Gambia and his details are already taken and confirmed,“ he said.
Another source hinted LTN that the suspect Ousainou Bojang was a student at Tallinding Arabic School.
