The trial involving Abdoulie Ndow known as Pap Ndow is expected to continue on February 7 2023 at the Kanifing Magistrate’s Court before presiding magistrate Mben Faal.
The last sitting was done on 17th January 2023, where one of the prosecution witnesses Musa Manneh, a businessman residing in Bundung was cross-examined following the end of his testimony.
Readers would recall that the accused Pap Ndow is being charged with obtaining money by false pretense and with intent to defraud, contrary to the Laws of The Gambia.
The victim has claimed that the accused has defrauded her with over D2M, the money she had planned to use for the purchase of building materials and household items for her new house.
