The President of Senegal Bassirou Diomaye Faye has on Wednesday, 29th May 2024 appointed Mame Seydou Ndour as the Director General of the National Police (DGPN) of Senegal. He replaces Seydou Bocar Yague, who has been redeployed to other duties. The new police chief was previously Director of the Air and Border Police.
This decision was taken during the Council of Ministers on Wednesday 29 May 2024.
