Security sources have hinted that a post mortem will be conducted on the body of the late Colonel Abdoulie Mboob, Commander of the State Guards Unit, to establish the cause of his sudden death.
Col. Mboob passed away on Saturday evening, 25th May 2024, at a private clinic in Brusubi following a brief illness, leaving the whole nation in shock due to its untimely nature.
“Funeral arrangements will be concluded after the post mortem and will be communicated in due course,“ said a source.
The late senior officer of the Gambia Armed Forces was a fine gentleman and was widely admired due to his commitment and dedication to duty.
