Sami women‘s group adopts NPP‘s Pa Jagne as Father

The women‘s group of Sami Pachonki in Sami District, Central River Region has on Saturday, 18th May 2024 adopted Pa Jagne of the National People‘s Party (NPP) as their Father. The outspoken NPP stalwart Pa Jagne and his entourage visited the women‘s group in Sami Pachonki where they had a short meeting to show appreciation of the women‘s political move.

Speaking to LamToro News online, Pa Jagne dislcosed that there are plans to celebrate this intiative in a grand political style in Sami. He said there a grand political meeting in Sami to celebrate the women‘s group and to thank them for the decision they have taken.

According to Pa Jagne, the women are ready to support him in his political work in promoting President Barrow‘s agenda.

He disclosed that his friend based in the United Kingdom called Lamin Fadera has donated D100,000 to the women‘s group. Fadera is a native of Sami District and has been supporting the NPP.

Jagne also thanked the Chief of Sami District Mam Demba Jallow for donating him a bull as a show of appreciation for the women‘s gesture. He said Fanta Kanteh, the NPP Diaspora Secretary in Italy also attended the ceremony at Sami Pachonki.

Pa Jagne used the opportunity to thank Lamin Fadera, Fanta Kanteh, Chief Demba Jallow, the people of Sami, the women‘s group, and all those who supported him.
