The Gambia Police Force (GPF) has declared a Senegalese fugitive Mass Njie wanted.

A statement from the Gambia Police Force reveals that  Mass Njie, a Senegalese national, is wanted in connection with a series of burglaries and stealing. The police therefore seek the public’s assistance and cooperation in locating the said fugitive.

“His alleged crimes are as follows:

* On January 27, 2024, he broke and stole huge amounts of money from Ping Money Bureau, located on Kairaba Avenue in the Standard Chartered Building.

* On February 5th 2024, he broke and stole money from Vista Bank in Banjul.

* On February 29th 2024, Mass Njie broke into an APS Bureau in Old Yundum, West Coast Region, where he again stolen money.

Mass Njie, known to be involved in the fishing trade at Tanji, is considered a high-profile criminal specialised in the burglary.

The police urge anyone with information regarding Mass Njie’s whereabouts to come forward. The police are dedicated to apprehending him to ensure the security and the safety of the public,“ the statement indicated.
