The public prosecutor has called for the dismissal of the appeal lodged by the judicial agent of the State.
In his closing argument, Ousmane Diagne asked the judge to reject the request to overturn the decision of the Ziguinchor district court.
It should be noted that Judge Sabassy Faye had requested that Ousmane Sonko be reinstated on the electoral roll.
The public prosecutor based his request on the irreversibility of two of the three arguments put forward by the State’s lawyers to have the decision overturned.
