Police Constable Pateh Jallow, Police Constable Sang J Gomez, and Woman Police Constable (WPC) Ancy Jawo were identified as officer being attacked and shot by an unknown assailant on Tuesday night at the Sukuta -Jabang Road while on duties.
PC Pateh Jallow and PC Sang J Gomez were confirmed dead on the spot while, WPC Ancy Jawo is in a critical condition and hospitalised at the Ndemban Clinic in Bakau.
The dead bodies of Pateh Jallow and Sang Gomez were also taken to the Ndemban Clinic first before being transferred to EFSTH in Banjul.
