The Ministry of Justice has announced the appointment of Abdurrahman Maitama Yusuf as Director of Public Prosecution. The appointment is effective on 1st August, 2023, and was approved by President Adama Barrow.
“With his wide experience in criminal prosecution , Mr. Yusuf will lead the department of prosecution to initiate, take over and discontinue criminal cases instituted in Gambian Courts.”
