The President of the ECOWAS Court of Justice, Justice Edward Amoake Asante paid a courtesy visit on the Hon Chief Justice earlier today.
The objective of the visit was to brief the Chief Justice on the Court’s upcoming international conference to be held in Banjul.
The four-day conference will bring together jurists, legal luminaries, academics, students, Judges of the Court, Heads of ECOWAS Institutions and ECOWAS staff to discuss issues on the theme: Zero tolerance for unconstitutional change of government: democracy and the rule of law for sustainable development.
The Hon Chief Justice Hassan B Jallow will deliver a statement at the opening ceremony on Monday.
