The public relations officer (PRO) of the Gambia Refugees Association Europe Branch (GRA Europe Branch), Zack Sowe has on behalf of the association visited Gambian migrants detained at the Deportation Center in Pforzheim prison in Southwest Germany.
During his visit on Saturday, 25th March 2023, PRO Sowe met nine (9) Gambian men who are currently in custody and are scheduled to be deported to Gambia on the 24th of May.
Meanwhile, Gambia Refugee Association Europe branch is working hand in glove with concerned authorities and is also consulting legal practitioners to find possible means of helping these detainees to regularize their Status in Germany in order to avoid being deported.
Nonetheless, the figures can rise or can also decrease, since they still have a chance for possible discharge from detention.
In the same vein, the GRA Europe Branch wishes their brothers and families all the best in these trying times.
The GRA Europe Branch uses this opportunity to advise Gambia migrants to regularize their status before too late.
