The Ministry of Local Government and Lands has announced that Mrs. Sainabou Martin Sonko and Dr. Alieu Keita, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Finance Director respectively, will resume work on Tuesday, 21st February 2023.
The ministry also stated in its press release that the said council officials and others affected will be investigated, while the Mayors of Banjul and Kanifing will also be investigated through a Commission of Inquiry established recently by the president of the Republic Adama Barrow.
