The Senegalese international singer and composer El Hadj Beydi Baaba Maal, leader of the Dandé Lenol Music group has lost his nephew Adama Niass, on Thursday 8 December 2022.
Niasse died in a car accident on the Senegalese autoroute.
In the wake of this sad news, the international festival Blues du fleuve, initiated by the artist Baaba Maal in Podor, which was initially scheduled from 9 to 11 December, has been postponed.
A source close to the music star said the event is cancelled until further notice.
