PRESS RELEASE: Eid-ul Adha Public Holiday

Following the Supreme Islamic Council’s confirmation that Friday is Arafat day and Saturday 9th July as Eid Al-Adha, the Office of the President informs the general public that His Excellency President Adama Barrow has declared Monday, 11th July 2022, a Public Holiday throughout the country, in observance of the Muslim feast of Eid-ul Adha, commonly known as “Tobaski”.

The Office of the President wishes all Gambians and friends of The Gambia celebrating at home and abroad, a blessed Eid Mubarak.
