Profile of Ousman A. Bah, new Minister of Communications and Digital Economy

Mr. Ousman A. Bah has over 20 years of corporate experience at the executive level in the Telecoms and Fin-Tech industries. He spent 16 years of his career in the telecoms industry as Area Internet Manager for AT&T and then held other executive positions in the Fin-Tech industry in the Silicon Valley California, such as Managing Director of Pure Energies, Vice President of Bank of America Small Business where he partnered with 130 branches with over $30 Million Portfolio. He also served as Regional Sales Director at WorldPay, overseeing the west coast region of the U.S. Most recently, he was a Global Relationship Executive for PayU, covering 25 different countries within Europe, Latin America, South Africa, and Asia.

Mr. Ousman A. Bah is recognized as a visionary, strategist and transformational architect, change agent, Valued Mentor, Inspiring leader, and designer, for launching and managing world-class operations and business programs. His record is one of generating record 

profits and increasing company revenue and producing growth in highly competitive markets. For example, during his tenure at Pure Energies, the company grew from stagnant revenue of $500,000 to $20 million in one year.

Mr. Bah holds a BS in Information Technology, from the University Phoenix, and both an MS in Systems and Network Management, and an MBA, in Business Administration from the Golden Gate University California. Mr. Bah brings a wealth of academic and 

professional training from major international companies and institutions based in the United States.

Mr. Bah has traveled extensively all over the world. His major interest since he was a young man has always been and remains to be working with technology to enrich the lives of people. Mr. Bah is married and with two children a boy and a girl. He lives in California, USA —a part of the San Francisco Bay Area.
