Three personnel of the  Gambia Police  Force are currently in Dakar,  Senegal to partake in an international training on  Quality Management and Forensic Science, courtesy of  GIZ ( Senegal). The Gambian Police delegation headed by the Deputy spokesperson (PRO), Inspector  Alieu  Jamanka, are joined by other police officers from the sub-region. The training is taking place at the Ecole National De Police along Burgie Baa Avenue in downtown Dakar.

Speaking on behalf of the  Gambian delegation at the opening ceremony on Wednesday,  Inspector  Alieu Jamanka expressed  delight  and sincere  appreciation to  the  organizers ( GIZ)  and the  Senegalese  Scientific  Police  for the opportunity and hospitality, accorded to them. Inspector  Jamanka told the gathering in Dakar that  the training  will go a long way  in adding value to their work back in The  Gambia. He assured that he and his team will take full advantage of the opportunity and  replicate the knowledge  gained in the  execution of their duties back home. 

” Finally,  my most since appreciation, on behalf of my team, to the High Command in the  Gambia, under the dynamic leadership of Barrister Abdoulie  Sanyang (IGP) for giving us this wonderful lifetime opportunity to attend such an important training,” he remarked.

Other speakers include the Head of the Senegalese  Scientific  Police and  Mr.  Kevin Keshwer, renowned  Quality Management and Forensic Expert from the UK.
