The Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad Dr. Mamadou Tangara on Monday 16th May 2022, paid a visit to the Director-General (DG) of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), Dr. Salim M. Al Malik, a statement from the Gambia’s Foreign Affairs Ministry reads.
Dr. Tangara’s meeting with the ICESCO director-general is part of the activities marking his visit to Rabat, Morocco.
The Honourable Minister, who was accompanied to the ICESCO Headquarters by The Gambia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, Ms. Saffie Lowe-Ceesay, reiterated his full support for the existing cooperation between ICESCO and Gambia in the fields of education, science, and culture.
