Nigerian woman arrested in Gambian for alleged human trafficking

A systematic investigation process, led by Police Detectives, has tracked down a fifty-two-year-old Nigerian woman who is allegedly notorious for trafficking her fellow nationals in The Gambia on the pretext of offering them lucrative jobs.

Further investigation into this incident has revealed that the accused Nigerian woman compels her victims into sex work to be able to pay a sum of D250, 000 as travel expenses of her victims.

The general public is highly encouraged to always report suspected crimes to the nearest police station for immediate action.
